Editing the map style

Visual lets you change rules and settings with controls. Query shows the shared query text behind the style. Natural helps draft changes in plain language.

Changes update the preview. Use Undo or Redo to step through edits, Discard to revert them, and Apply to save the current style. The named style selector keeps separate browser-saved copies.

Data and display contains map extent, vector-tile and 3D options. Scroll inside that section to reach all controls without moving the action buttons.

Reusable feature selections
A named selection is an advanced condition that a style rule can use. Referencing it from an active rule loads it automatically. Expressions: nodes(...), ways(...), relations(...), members(...), parents(...), near(distance,A,B), inside(A,B), intersects(A,B), contains(A,B), and | & -. Spatial operations return matching features from A. Color, label, and overlay rules can use named selections.
The generated query becomes the shared draft.
